I’m Kate Stanway. I live in Shropshire UK with my husband Roger. And we’ve recently been spending quite a lot of time in Virginia USA, too. Our daughter is a US citizen.
I have loved poetry since I was a child. I didn’t always understand it but the form attracted me.
Poetry is a bit like music or pictures, it touches something in the deeper places of who we are.

Since September 2020 I have been inspired to write poetry for others to reflect on.
This is a gift from God. It’s a reprise of a gift of poetry which I first received in 1990.
